A better way to choose your Jeju rental car.

While planning my trip to Jeju, I chose the EV3 as my rental car without a second thought. Since the EV3 is the car I usually drive myself, I deliberately chose the same model so I could drive comfortably and with confidence in Jeju as well. Driving an unfamiliar car on vacation usually takes some time to get used to, but since it was exactly the same as the car I drive every day, it felt incredibly comfortable right from the moment I set off. In particular, the distances I traveled in Jeju were longer than I expected, but thanks to the EV3’s uniquely quiet and comfortable ride, even long-distance driving wasn’t a burden at all. As I compared it to driving my own car, I found myself thinking several times, “I’m really glad I rented the EV3.” Driving along the Jeju coastal road felt fun because, even though it was the same car I usually drive, it had a different vibe since I was driving it on vacation. The entire process of using Jeju Angel Car was convenient overall. From picking up the car to returning it, everything went smoothly without any major hassles, so I was able to focus on my travel itinerary. Above all, I was quite satisfied with the unique experience of renting and driving an EV3—just like my own car—right there in Jeju. I think this is a huge advantage for anyone who drives an EV3 regularly—being able to use a familiar vehicle even while traveling in Jeju. If I ever plan another trip to Jeju, I’ll definitely be looking for an EV3 from Jeju Angel Car again. Since this was our first trip to Jeju Island with our child, the thing I was most concerned about when choosing a rental car was the car seat! I was worried that my child would get tired from waiting outside for a long time in the hot weather, but the car seat I’d requested in advance was already installed in the car, which was so convenient, haha. I was absolutely thrilled that we could load our luggage and head out right away without having to wait—that was the best part! The interior of the car was clean, and my child didn’t seem uncomfortable during the long drive, which was the best part for us as parents. I definitely plan to use this service again the next time I visit Jeju.

It was convenient that I could use the shuttle bus even the day after returning the rental car, after my trip to Jeju, to get to the airport. The rental car was in good condition—especially the tires, which are crucial for safety, were in excellent shape, having been installed within the last year or two. The interior was, of course, odor-free and clean. My wife said the built-in navigation system was easy to see while she was driving. Right across from the rental car company, there’s an Omegi rice cake shop, so it’s great to pick up some rice cakes before heading to the airport. (There are two locations, and both seem to offer good quality. I’ve traveled to Jeju many times, but this is the cheapest option on the island, and the taste is pretty good too~) There are many hotels in the area, and if you’re starting your trip early in the morning, there’s a McDonald’s right next to the entrance (opens at 7 a.m.), which is a great place to grab breakfast (McMornings).

I had a very pleasant and comfortable experience over the course of two nights and three days. The interior of the car was spacious and clean, so I enjoyed my entire trip around Jeju Island. The best part was not only the pick-up and drop-off service but also how incredibly simple the rental and return process was. After comparing several companies, I chose this one because it seemed to offer the best combination of price and service, and if I ever visit Jeju again, I’d definitely use them. The fleet is clean and well-maintained, but what really sets them apart is the orientation; they ensure you are fully briefed and comfortable with the vehicle before you leave. The staff is multilingual, which made communication seamless. A special shout-out and to Mr. Shin, who was incredibly helpful. He shared personal recommendations for restaurants his own family loves—the BBQ black pork and sashimi spots he suggested were the highlights of our trip ! Thank you Mr Shin !
